Sunway Hotel Group Selects Eggrock Bathrooms For New Holiday Inn Express Project

Littleton, MA - Eggrock LLC, the U.S. leader in pre-built bathrooms for the hotel construction industry, announced that it was awarded a contract for 109 bathrooms for a new Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Myers Florida. Bathrooms are to be installed in December 2007. The bathrooms were purchased by Sunway Construction Services I, Inc, of Overland Park, Kansas.

"Sunway has a significant presence in the hotel industry and Eggrock is proud to be given this opportunity," said Jeff Barrett, President and CEO of Eggrock LLC. "Sunway conducted an extensive evaluation of our product and capabilities. The Ft. Myers Holiday Inn Express will be an important part of our expansion into the Florida hotel construction market."

"Sunway builds hotels in various locations throughout the United States for several major brands," said Tom Lund, President of Sunway Construction Services I, Inc. "We constantly seek better construction methods to improve quality while reducing cost and time. We believe Eggrock will play an important role in our hotel construction system."

Traditionally, bathrooms are expensive to build on-site and are a major cause of construction delays and quality problems. Building each hotel bathroom at the construction site requires at least eight different specialty trades to complete – all within a small, confined space.

Eggrock solves these problems by building bathrooms in a controlled manufacturing facility and delivering them to the construction site complete with finished floor and wall tiles, paint, wallpaper, fixtures, lighting, and electrical outlets all in place.
